WAGE (Women and Girls Empowerment) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable women and children. As a non-political, non-religious, and non-governmental entity, WAGE's sole focus is on empowering those in need and fostering inclusive growth. Registered under the Societies Registration Act of India, WAGE has been working diligently since 2012 to create meaningful opportunities for marginalized women and children. The organization was founded by a group of passionate social activists who understood the critical need to support single-headed households, victims of violence, and promote rural education and rehabilitation.
Our mission centers on comprehensive social and economic development for women, especially those from vulnerable backgrounds. We engage with neglected communities to raise awareness on crucial social issues, such as the prevention of trafficking, and provide skills and resources for self-sustainability. Our goal is to reduce vulnerabilities and equip women with the tools they need to lead independent and dignified lives.
By donating to WAGE, you become part of a larger mission to uplift marginalized communities. Your support directly contributes to empowering women, reducing gender inequality, and improving the lives of countless children. Whether through skill development programs, preventing child marriages, advocating for child rights, or addressing domestic violence, every donation makes a significant impact. Help us continue our work in building a more just, equitable, and empowered society for women and girls.
