WAGE is committed to providing healthcare and rehabilitation support to the most marginalized groups, including women, children, and individuals with disabilities. Below are some of our key health and rehabilitation initiatives:
WAGE recognizes the importance of physiotherapy in treating chronic pain, injuries, and mobility issues.
Through awareness programs, WAGE educates communities about the rights of disabled individuals.
We organize free corrective surgeries for individuals with birth defects and those suffering from polio. T
WAGE conducts regular health camps focusing on maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS awareness, and general health check-ups for rural communities.
WAGE focuses on the rehabilitation of women and children, particularly those affected by social issues such as domestic violence and human trafficking. Our rehabilitation services include:
As a women-led organization, WAGE actively addresses domestic violence. We train community organizers on the Domestic Violence Act and collaborate with government departments to provide legal and emotional support to victims.
To combat child labor and improve education for children in marginalized communities, WAGE established a Bridge School Program. This initiative targets children who have dropped out of school due to poverty or child labor.
WAGE has formed Village Development Committees (VDCs) in every village, comprising 10 members each. These committees work closely with the villagers, helping them identify local issues and develop solutions.
WAGE’s Health and Rehabilitation Services aim to support the most vulnerable populations through comprehensive healthcare programs, rehabilitation initiatives, and education. By focusing on empowerment and social justice, WAGE strives to build a healthier, more equitable society.
